Four Barrels single malt whisky was distilled using high grade barley and the purest water from the Southern Tasmanian Highlands. These barrels were originally used to mature sherry and port and are made from either French or American oak. Distilled within the walls of original sandstone buildings of a now infamous Bothwell Estate and matured at a Bond store near Deloraine.
Barrel 1733 is from an American oak cask that previously held sherry. In the barrel for 7 years it is deep gold in colour with aromas of cherries, hazelnuts and rhubarb @ 47.2%
