We started investing in Whisky through our Super Fund in 2014. Unfortunately things didn’t eventuate the way they should have with certain individuals controlling the scheme not playing the game fairly.
That Company went into receivership and changed hands.
Our whisky was still safe and maturing quietly within the walls of this lovely estate. The time had come though when the new owners wanted to divest themselves of this apparent headache of an investment scheme. Our Super Fund then sold its ownership of the product to us.
The Whisky was transferred to another Bond store in the north of the state where it completed the maturation process.
Constant tasting determined that the time was right to decant and bottle and this is the result of those efforts.
The 100 ltr Barrels were numbered 1733, 1734, 1735 & 1736
Barrel 1736 is a limited edition single cask whisky (45.8% ABV) with only 150 bottles available.
It has been a long road for us and we would like you to enjoy this fine Tasmanian whisky.
The road ahead continues ahead with the other barrels still maturing.
