Four Barrels single malt whisky was distilled using high grade barley and the purest water from the Southern Tasmanian Highlands. These barrels were originally used to mature sherry and port and are made from either French or American oak. Ageing took place within the walls of original sandstone buildings of a now infamous Bothwell Estate.
The 4 barrels are numbered 1733, 1734, 1735 & 1736.
Barrel 1733 is from an American oak cask that previously held sherry. Deep brown in colour with aromas of hazelnuts, cherries & rhubarb.
We only have only 36 bottles of this limited edition @ cask strength (65.9%)
